A daily note on some event in the history of mystery fiction.
I really enjoy this blog. Here’s an upcoming date I stumbled upon while researching a story. (Published in the Shamus Sampler II private eye anthology.)March 18, 1990 – Boston’s Isabella Gardner Museum was robbed of artwork valued at approximately half a billion dollars. The strange crime and its many unanswered questions inspired the David Hosp mystery novel Among Thieves. The robbery remains unsolved. A $5 million reward is still available for information leading to the stolen art’s recovery.Best wishes,Peter DiChellis
THanks for the tip, Peter. Unfortunately March 18 is booked for this year, but there's always another year, I hope. Can you give me a source for this info?
