July 12, 2008. On this date the International Thriller Writers gave their Best Novel Award to Robert Harris for
The Ghost. The title does not refer to supernatural events although there are certainly some spooks, i.e. spies, involved. Harris offers a thinly disguised look at Prime Minister Tony Blair, with a nasty suggestion about why he
really resigned from the Prime Ministership.
