The Scoop was a twelve-part story with each chapter written and read by a member of the Detection Club. Dorothy L. Sayers started the game on this night, followed a week later by Agatha Christie. Among the best known names that followed were Ronald Knox, Anthony Berkeley and E.C. Bentley.
