2/13/1903 Simenon arrives
February 13, 1903. Georges Simenon was born in Liège, Belgium on
this day. He wrote almost 200 novels, including more than seventy
about French policeman Jules Maigret, one of the most popular detectives
in literature. My favorite line from M. Simenon:
“Novel finished. I re-enter life.”
